The Best Debate In The Universe - Episode #56
June 26th, 2017
Should white identity exist? We're joined by a very special in-studio guest, all the way from London, Sargon of Akkad! Sargon is an Anti-Identitarian YouTuber and an outspoken critic of cultural politics. He had a run in with Anita Sarkeesian at Vidcon where she called him a "SHIT HEAD" from the podium while he was in the audience with our own Rucka. Sargon was kind enough to come on our show to discuss it hours after it happened! This is one of the longest episodes we've ever recorded and an absolutely fascinating debate. The encounter with Anita starts around 11:39, and the debate about white identity starts around 53:52. Here's the full video version of our podcast, on an all new Madcast Media Network YouTube channel:
And here's Sargon's Anita Sarkeesian video he recorded personally from the panel at Vidcon:
Here's the crew from this week:
For the second debate question, we considered the important debate of whether or not Rucka was "fuckin' stupid." This will be a binding vote. Mikey Bolts was out this week with squirty poops. Feel better Mikey!
Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who pre-ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind. The countdown has begun. October 17. Clear your year. Clear your life:
We had an amazing Vidcon this year where I finally got to meet two of my favorite creators on YouTube, Adam from Your Movie Sucks:
And the incredible Anthony Fantano. Two really solid dudes:
We finally rounded out this episode with some teenage boys who wear skirts to protest their school's "no shorts" policy, and a mini-crossbow craze in China that will result in an emergency-room visit craze. I can't wait.
