Godzilla vs Podcast Zero - Godzilla vs King Kong with Jordan Morris

This week we delve into a movie that’s as classic as it is goofy, Godzilla vs King Kong, with very funny comedian and @midnight writer, Jordan Morris. This is one of those Godzilla movies with the most incorrect lore surrounding it because there’s a persistent belief that the Japanese version of this movie had Godzilla as the victor, while the American one gave the spoils to King Kong. This is such a persistently false rumor that even Snopes weighed in on it to set the record straight.

There’s a scene with natives in brown-face that get bamboozled by fast-talking researchers who dazzle the natives with modern technology like radio and cigarettes, which the kids happily snatch up and smoke. Then there’s this scene:

And a very booty-licious King Kong that makes this one of the most memorable films in the Godzilla canon. This movie, like Godzilla vs Megalon, has a cult-like status and shouldn’t be missed. Definitely not the film to introduce people to Godzilla. Or King Kong:
