The excellent Mike Trapp joins us to review “Godzilla At World’s End” this week! Mike Trapp is the head writer for CollegeHumor Originals and the very funny host of
">Um, Actually…. We take a look at Marc Cerasini’s 1998 novel, “Godzilla: At World’s End.” That’s right, we read a 300+ page book for you this week! And what a book it is, chock-full of characters, monsters and machines, machines, machines. Trapp made the observation that there are “dinosaur kids and train kids…” and he surmised that Cerasini was a train kid. Well we confirmed this to be true in the episode because Marc’s love of machines and indifference towards monsters became apparent as the book went on. And on. If you like your giant monster books with a heavy dollop of libertarian political theory, this is for you!Marc Cerasini has written over 40 books and his strength is epsionage, spy thrillers and special force stories, so you can see him shine in those areas in this book. I think we all would have liked more monster action and earlier, but we still had a lot of fun with this one.

Jay Hasrajani is still out working on a big new project, and even if he weren’t, I think having him read a 300 page book for a 1-minute take is a tall order! But you know who else is a tall order? GODZILLA.
