The Best Debate in the Universe - Many pepole criticize SJW culture as being overly sensitive and delicate snowflakes. But more and more, there's criticism that the anti-SJW side is just as outraged and reactionary. So the debate this week is: ARE ANTI-SJWS THE NEW SJWS?
Monday July 24th 2017
Are anti-SJWs the new SJWs? Debate starts at 00:25:19. We're joined by the distinguished streamer, debater and online personality, Steve aka Destiny who flew in to LA and came straight to the studio to have a debate. Badass. We debated how outraged both sides of the debate get, touching on Gamer Gate, the Ghostbusters outrage, Anita Sarkeesian and racist witch hunts. This was a really great debate, with some real-time examples of anti-SJW outrage. You can watch the video version here: Madcast Media Network YouTube channel:
This week's episode was a bit delayed because of my Comic-Con schedule of beating up nerds. Speaking of, here are a few pics of the action:
And finally, the elusive free-shirt that Rucka's been promising makes an appearance at Comic-Con. What next, the Drawling Aussie?!
Rucka brought some righteous outrage this week and was tap-dancing on thin ice, so we're putting a potential promotion or demotion up for debate. We recorded this episode a bit early because of Comic-Con, so Mikey Bolts unfortunately couldn't make it. But we did have Svetlana making an appearance, the official spokesperson for Trump. Because she's Russian. Deal.
Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who pre-ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind. The countdown has begun. October 17. Clear your year. Clear your life:
We finally round out this episode with a story of animal rights protesters at a Chick-fil-A on the most sacred of holidays, "cow appreciation day." Is nothing sacred?
